last time i played many years ago you could throw "white" items into a well and a "elite" spawn would come and you had to kill it to get it magic.

is it still like this or?

yes

u have to find well in catacombs.

u can now buy/sell whites on marketplace.

Also wells can disappear and never return after a few items have been dropped in them
