How high can the driver be above someone?

Can a lvl 68 drive for 55? Will both get (good) XP?

I think with a gap like that the driver might start to pull further ahead

The level is irrelevant. You'll get equal amounts of xp no matter the level difference.

One must be killing the level of monsters of the higher level of the 2 players.

Player X = lvl 10 - Player Y = lvl 30

Y kills lvl 10 mobs for X and X gets 0 xp.

Y summons lvl 30 mobs and kills 30 mobs and both X and Y get xp.

There is a very negligible amount of xp difference but in the end you're getting virtually the same amount whether your 40 levels behind or the same level.

The lower lvl char will gain on the higher lvl one, and will eventually catch up.

Is this based on the fact that the lower character makes the killing blow?

Now, if the lower level kills the higher level monster, he/she gets like 4-8 xp on the bar, whereas the higher level will get 1-3 xp on the bar?

This is what they should look at to give the best response to this thread.

It's totally irrelevant as to who does the killing blow.

I have at various times joined a party that is 5 or 10 levels above me (my char being lvl 1 to 5. for example)
And with various chars ranging from Feeder to Ninja
My lower lvl char gains enough exp to catch up the the highest lvl char, and is usually at the same lvl as everyone else by MQ time
