How does the exp for skilling work, i tried to take a look through some of the posts but couldn't see anytihng.

is it a fixed amount of exp, or is it based on your level and a %?

Transmuting?
Fishing?
Cooking?

i figured it was a fixed number for all skills to be the same, probably dependant on rank. i have no idea.

Experience ranks up your character levels.

Without the events boosting the exp gain from skilling (20x) it’s so minuscule that it really doesn’t matter - hence little to no information it. I created a thread with some data on it while fishing; but that thread is probably 2-3 years old now and I don’t have a link to it.

Do a sample size of ~25 skilling and get your own data. But be prepared for disappointment. Without the events it is not a viable source of XP gain.
