Silly Suggestion Of The Year

But first the reason for the silly suggestion must be presented

SoftCore Session 24

Session 24 Started July 8th, 2018

THE POTENTIAL SC RESETTERS:

1 X ALCHEMIST

Just barely one month into the current session, and an Alchemist appears.

There is a disturbing increase in frustration of the speed
at which the game progresses to the higher levels,
But I am not going to delve into the reasons
for this nor the methods used to achieve it.

Not at all.

My suggestion is simply intended to lengthen the session playing time,
and maybe slow down the appearance of higher classes

So - here it is:

In order to qualify for participation in a group catacomb game,
the character must have completed at least ONE SOLO CLIMB to 71

Going to add to this:

You have to do 1 solo climb extra per class unlocked so Feeder is 1, Sammy 2, Pally 3, etc. Once you've done that, you randomly find "Emblems" used to make each of the keys (permanently for that class). So you would need 3 emblems per 3 door class, so on. Why? Because this game is way to easy now for people to reset. Enjoy and rage please!

I like this idea, kills off the rest of the player base.

after removing the arena to properly play solo and make this a group game I sincerely doubt anything like this would ever happen

I agree about being disappointed that we’re are a month into the season and there is already alchemist. I will likely never be able to achieve higher level classes again due to too much iRL responsibilities.

I wish there was a way to slow down ‘extreme players’ that wouldn’t affect someone like me who can only play games for a few hours a week.

Since this idea would never happen anyways (in addition to the OP suggestion) it doesn't really matter. As for remaining player base, the hardcore veterans are the ones still playing due to invested time in profs and $/FG in gear. Therefore the only thing that will actually kill off player base (not including changes to drops that are MUCH better) would be Paul shutting down the server. If I have not managed to chase off the player base due to being me, then this addition wouldn't even come close.
