Okay, read the update and realise that TwoHitBack and 2 other abilities do not attack 1 monster twice.
But, why not make it at least attack once, it is annoying that you can NOT do any action until you toggle off ability or change to heal.

Note: I solo 99% of the time, I prefer it if this ability did what it was initially doing... attack 2 different monsters IF there were more than one, and attack twice if only engaging with 1 monster... especially when it is an Evil Presence.

Read this also... "as intended", my point is that this ability is not as useful as it was for solo'ing, and no, there are not enough players on Hardcore during my timezone for me to get an active group, but, thank you for your comment in bold, is that yelling your comment, or just the way you like to post?

Maybe, not sure where you are coming from to be honest, my main concern is that monster abilities that multi hit or doublestrike / doublecast still work against myself when solo'ing? So why is it that the character ability doesn't? Is it coding that was forgotten?

Because monster abilities still hit me 2x or more even solo'ing? (referring to Twohitback / doublestrike & doublecast type monster abilities where as update states we can not do the same)

Monster abilities

Multi strike: hit multiple people

Double strike: ( this one is wrong actually) because it does say hits two targets so yes I guess the mob should be changed in line with us. I haven’t tested it yet so I’ll take your word for it hitting you twice

I agree that I liked it better before for soloing / welling. Now when you are soloing while using one of the dbl hit skills you think you are lagging all the time because you arent attacking while the skill is highlighted. I used to use all 3 skills for solo because they are / were fantastic for it. Maybe after I get used to it, it will be better, but I doubt I have much time left to get used to it.
And in cata you are more likely to use a larger multi hit skill then you are any of those 3, atleast I do.
So rip all 3 skills. Paul changed them to be that way, because that's how he wants it. So I doubt they will ever be changed. It's his game and I love most of the changes.

Edit- I never used all 3 at the "same time / solo climb" obviously because 1 is a casting skill, but I did use it when soloing caster. Just to clarify before someone jumps on it. ;)

I wish it would auto cancel a selected skill if the skill was not available to be used such as when trying to use the 2 hit abilities on a single mob or when using a healing skill while the recipient is full hp

It would be better if it would just attack once instead of not attacking at all, or de-select as you have pointed out.

Paul has just changed this and stated that this is how he intended for it to be. There's no use in further argument for any other changes regarding this ability. It's not going to happen.

Let's focus our efforts on fixing anything else that we believe to be wrong with the game or that could be more right :) . We all have very strong opinions because this is the game we've put so much time into. Hope to see you guys so fervently in new ideas.

I think you are missing the main point of my post.

1. Yes, this ability does NOT attack twice on one monster [target] as it use to.
2. CAN it at least ATTACK when it is highlighted when there is ONE monster left... NOT using the ability, but a normal skill.

NOTE: IF the ability IS highlighted, it USES the ability, BUT, only attacks ONCE, not twice and ALSO use the charge.

This way, you are NOT thinking that you have LAG issues.

Please think outside of the box for solutions instead of suggesting to CLOSE a thread... thanks for your input, behest it irrelevant.
