Is this a good method of farming?

And from what I see, you put in a tier 5 and you get majority of tier 5 drops?

Just curious. I did a couple today. But just wanted to make sure.

Well monsters allow you to get Prof faster and when you well at level of your character (dropping 25 white in at 25) the side drops increase giving you more chance to get something good!

Stick to the 8 level rule... level 25 white item at minimum character level 33. ESPECIALLY when solo welling. Seen people 1 shot killed in full group being the same level as the item dropped, mind you, the returned item was above 160% enhanced effect.

Stay a few lvl under the itemlevel so u get more sidedrops

You still get up to 8 side drops if staying with the 8 level rule while solo welling, things change in group runs and killing blow etc.

so if i well a level 30 item, my max character level should be 38?

my point of view is similar to Trents and Niclas (Rawrfox and Ristvall) . Best wells / sidedrops drop when wellmoster is same or higher level then you are. Means welling level 25 items at level 20 to 25 . Works well if you have good gear/much vita/good fish or comfreys/glyphs.
And yeah like Rex (izparagonzi) is saying , chances are they hit you very hard. Do that at your own risk
