So basically the issue I've had forever is that I have no sound what so ever in game. Yes I know alot of people don't use it, but I've always listened for heals etc. For the longest time I have not been able to get any sound and can't for the life of me figure out the cause. I have tried the following:

1)switched sound to 0 by typing the command.
2)switched sound to x number by typing the command
3)switched sound to 0 by escape option
4)switched sound to x number by escape option
5)cleared cache
6)checked sound drivers (this is the only program/game affected by sound issue, everything else on computer works fine)
7)raged
8)got pissed and ignored forever
9)nothing else.

Any assistance to correct this would be appreciated. Sound for LS does work on my laptop, via the internet here at the house so its definitely a setting or something stupid on this computer.

If it gets the Bozzano account bug deleted and improves overall game play, I'm all for it.

Seriously though, anyone have an idea what may be the cause for this issue?

Not yet, was hoping to find a fix for IE, but I'll try one of the others. So I downloaded Firefox and sound works fine.

What version of IE?

And IE is bad lol I'd suggest chrome or firefox


suggestion for IE:
From IE > tools > internet options > advanced > multimedia - make sure box for play sound is checked
I assume it is... as you said other stuff works...

And you did /sound 100

Also from IE settings > safety > check/uncheck ActiveX filtering

i would either use firefox or chrome and repeat 7)
with firefox you can also remove the lasers with the grease monkey script so thats a very nice addition

Ended up going with Firefox for the mean time. Nothing else fixed the IE problem whatsoever. Ty all for the assistance.
