Pre-warning, at the moment I am intoxicated, BUT, this suggestion may have merit based on the POOR playerbase of the game.

EDIT: when you create / rename / reroll a character ETC, you can choose either SOLO / Open before character class is chosen:
Solo = Monster Spawn the same as Reset and can NOT join/create group games:
Open = Create / Join group games and monster spawn is the same as completing an MQ even after a Reset.

This suggestion can be implemented since it basically exists with coding. Once reset happens, all character solo'ing will ONLY encounter
a maximum of 2 normal monsters and 1 Evil Presence during an encounter.

Remember you still have a choice whether creating, rerolling, renaming or even when you pass / fail that character to choose either Solo / Open.
What this basically means is that once you choose Solo, you can not enter or create a group game until that character has changed character
options [solo/open] after MQ whether it has passed or not.

As a solo player character only, they WILL be at a disadvantage to completing objectives, thus making objectives obsolete, BUT, this gives opportunity
for new players to succeed further with crap gear and still have some chance of obtaining gear and so on, only downside, they can not complete a 0-71
in 1.5+ hour run without a good group. Also, this means anyone wanting to do a bufcore character can easily do so without other restrictions.

I have not fully explained above, it is based on the fact that even if you complete [pass or fail] an MQ, you have the choice to remake this character
into a solo'ing character and STILL have the same restrictions given straight after a RESET.

When ladder is reset all characters can solo but you will only encounter a maximum of 2 normal monsters and 1 evil presence.
Once that character has completed an MQ, the next solo run means maximum of 3 normal monsters and 3 evil presence can spawn.
Basically if you choose "Solo" when creating that character after any MQ, you only encounter a maximum of 2 normal monsters and 1 evil presence.
Note, optional to select "Solo" or not.

You should just play the game :wallbash:

I tell you what: if you now start the game after a fresh reset or with a fresh char you will encounter 2 monsters max.. (2eps max though).
after lvl 71 or after mq you will have the normal 3 monsters/3eps max

isnt it just 1 ep max atm for a first time character of the season?

ANyhow, idk why anyone would only want to find max 1 ep?
If you solo you either do it for prof or thinking that you can find better items solo.

So why only 1 ep? I would want a minimum of 2 eps if I solo..

I think that solo needs a buf so more ppl find it more rewarding doing solo
Also alot of ppl are sick of waiting for groups so they just start solo and pick up randoms along the way, if you had only options to go as solo or group it kinda fucks up the whole purpose imo. Sure I do understand what you want with this, but I dont understand why ppl would want the "newbie-system" when they solo instead of something harder / more rewarding.
