I've been slashing a lot the last few, pasted my first mq the other day The best drop I've seen was Lighting III with +13str and an ax with 40ee. I was wondering how people find crazy high ee weapons/armor. Is it just dumb luck and lots of grinding? Or should I look into investing in Magic Luck gear? Does any crafting help?

i wouldn't invest much in ml gear...
maybe for welling but its not needed in groups. but it never hurts to have ml on an item

you need to play a bit at all to have a chance to find something.. i have over 13mio kills and seen 2x 200+ee items dropping but not gotten any of those.
Do 100 climbs.. then you can make a topic again

I'd say 1 DECENT + item drops every 1-3 climbs
I understand people may interpret "decent+" differently but that's just my 2 cent perspective

Yes drop rate is pretty lame here.
Most of the crazy items you're thinking about dropped a long time ago when it was easier.
Yes they still drop - not too long ago there were 2x 200ee items that dropped in the same week.

Also, I guess you can keep in mind that EPs, welling and certain objectives are more rewarding overall than regular climbing. I know I get usually a 50 + fg item almost every time I well ~70 + items
