Because of how long it takes to level Trans/Glyph/Suff/Fish/Cook, does anyone make a character strictly for that then transfer the items? Or do you just level it on every character?

On sc you usually do it on the same char you mq with. On Hc you do it on a different char than you usually mq with incase you die you don't lose all the skilling exp with it.

You take your life... and then throw it down the drain...
At higher levels your pretty much buy all the skillables. With the current player base and how little items of high levels drop from regular climbs, which is 95% of the climbs, you will run out of skillables very fast.

I would say that there is an alternate approach to this...

You can also spend more time hunting EPs by exploring... rather than whistle-climbing. That'll net you a lot more skillables... If you do it this way, you should be able to maintain a good balance between skilling and doing things in your actual life! Just be prepared for it to take a decade to get to where you wanna be skilling :P

Oh right. And to answer the original question. Although I see many people doing all skills on 1 char, I would recommend that if you are using more than one character to play LS, put only one skill on each. That way you always have something you can be working on when you have downtime :)

And for transferring, I'd say put things you will be working on soon on the appropriate character or in your vault, and items that you won't work on for a while on mules

I don't understand why on earth you would make a different character for each skill... that seems pointless and when looking at the skiller it's less impressive spread out.

Hehe I don't skill to look impressive, I do it because I enjoy it. I also use my different characters to do different things, and when I'm regenning while soloing to 101 or waiting for someone to come back from afk, having a skill on each character allows me to do something during the few minutes of downtime.

If you climb in full group only 1-71 whistle on one sc char and just use the other 15 as mules then by all means do all skills on that char :P

it's also easier this way for utilizing your inv space. So when you fish you can have a couple rods + mass fish stacks to cook without vaulting or xfering anything really :P same with your full inv of glyphables etc

is it a big deal to vault the skillables you're not using? not really.. UNLESS your vault space is very limited ofc but it's more convenient to have a skiller on diff chars like Conformity said

this is one of those personal preference things ofc... not right or wrong way to go about that.

nah you do it on a different character so you can stay at 55+ and wear extra eq slots and keep it full with skillables
