every prof is 1% ee

sorry, i wasnt clear. im asking the xp gain on proficiency, how does that work?

you are getting +1 prof every few hits.. this is pretty random.. can be 1 per 10 hits or 1 per 1 hit.. eps and wells give better profs than normal monsters.. so the rate for succesful hits is better
if you got lvl 16 profs for example, your prof gaining starts at lvl 17.

how many hits can i get per monster? does prof gain depend on gear too? like lvl15 only possible with lvl15 gear?

it only depends on your characters lvl and afaik there is a cap for each mob

im not sure if this is true, i just hit a mob 200x with a pine club, no prof gain. every 5th attack or so did some dmg.

it is either depeding on weapon level too, or it requires minimum dmg to count as hit.

you can get 10 profs per wave/well
zero dmg doesnt count.
so you get more profs per solo climb with low gear.. but even if you have good gear.. you can still do 1 hit per second.. so per time you wont get more profs with low gear.. if you want to speed it up a bit you can go for quick draw gear to attack faster.. else you should explore to fight eps for a better rate of profs or collect a lot wellables for more profs too.. (try lvl x wellables at the same lvl.. if you are too low you will need too many hits (still not get more than 10 profs))) you get no or almost no profs if you are 15+ lvls higher than the monsters

you also dont get Prof if the monsters are a lower level then you. Or a higher level >.< silly paul. >.<

so if you are welling at lvl 71, you will be killing all mobs lower then you so they dont give you good prof.

and if you drop into a TD, yo uare killing mobs higher then you, so you dont get good prof.

the absolute best prof is Welling at your level. so if you are a lvl 15. then welling Tier 6's while you are level 15, will get you approximately 1 prof every single hit. up to 10 prof a well. as soon as you hit 16, stop welling and just slash up to 20. then Well all your tier 7's, until you hit 21....

etc. just keep going like so.


If you run out of wells, do explore climbs. because then you hit EP's which are your exact level. they also give basically 1 prof per hit.

Yeah you do, but it's just even slower, u can get few prof points when mobs are 5lvls behind you and so on, but it will be really slow prof.
