i suggest to invest at least tel:100-1000100-1000[/URL] fg (the more the better) to get some gear. then you may find something nice but you will for sure be able to pick up 1 or 2 fg items that can be sold to skillers
you have different options for your gear..

depending how much you want to spend.. i like the most dagger + axes (work for all melee classes + you only need dex charms/ dex robes to play with all melee classes)

another good option is swords.. you need str charms and str armors (this is good because you can use swords for the first 3 classes (fighter/barb, then samurai and paladin)
other than that you will need staves for monk (these need dex gear again.. so you need more gear sets) and after that axes for headhunter (if you ever reach that.. a lot of slashing + luck needed)
