So I've created a Barbarian as my first character and I finished the maze as seen here


now what should I do next? The game is super fun, it's simplicity is just great. But it's kind of boring to play alone, I couldn't find any party when starting out so I had to just go solo.

Also could someone explain to me what the difference between a charm and acc charm is? what should I get for these 2? I know on my weapon I should focus on enhanced effect and on the armor life+strenght right?
I also put my first 10 points into Vitality and I should put all of the upcoming points after each level into strenght?

what should I do with this tab? I have no idea what to pick!

So next, you do it all over again!! If you picked up the map that dropped when you completed the objective, you can double click it to use it and enter a different kind of labyrinth. Or you can just exit our and restart another catacomb. The general goal is to get to level 71, attempt the "matter quest", and then do it again and again with every character unlock.

It can be hard find parties to just run around with, most folks try to rush up to 71 super fast. All I can suggest is to stick with it.

For charms, think of the charm slot as a real charm slot. Whatever it says on the charm, you'll get. But the acc charm does not work the same way. If you have a that gives ten strength and put it on the shot, you get ten strength. But if you put it the acc slot you do not. Heal charms will still work in the acc slot, but with diminished effects.

it is very boring when u first start off....but learning the basics and doing a few climbs will teach u everything

Most people wont carry you, because its far to much work, and alot for u to ask...getting even a upgrade that would cost u pennies takes alot of time finding gear like that
I dont suggest even playing without gear you buy off of people...ud just be wasting ur time...u have to have atleast average gear to even do anything
Or waste weeks or months going to a certain mid level and rerolling everytime...which wont help you in anyway

the main charm slot give you all the bonuses u have on the charm...the acc slot only works with EE and is 25% weaker charm dmg/heal and the mana cost is reduced 25%
It can also be used as another free slot if u can equipped a charm
if u can get a good enough heal, then ur melee char can also heal himself if u add stats into intel and also increasing ur mana pool/higher life heals

If u can get a descent level 55 weapon 100+EE and a armor with 35+ strength or 100+ EE then ur starting stats should be 80+ vit
Even tho 20 stats sounds like alot...its not, it wont drop the weapon damage down much..ul have alot more life and be able to hang in much longer
u have to be able to charge ur abilities on EPS and kill them...later on u will find out why u need that much life (on harder mobs) with average gear
monsters start dealing more damage and has more life...u gota be able to charge ur abilities high enough
U have to add into vit early so u dont lose life later on...it keeps stacking

for ur skills go with retribution...its a barb ability, it gets much higher proc % (because its ur class) and deals alot of damage a 40% charge is doubled ur wep damage

I think like I've got the hang of it, bought some cheap axes for my Barbarian and he is currently level 21 as I type this message.
For what I know now my weapon should be either axe, club or sword (I went with Axe) with as much enhanced effect as possible. Charm should be str (got one with 21str). Armor should also have str so I have one with 20 str but it's a brocade robe, does that really matter though?
Acc charm?? what should I get for this slot?

Also how can I find people that are in my level? There doesn't seem to be that many people playing actively

the acc is pointless for u....but if u wana save space put a shrineable in its place...when u need to town on EPS...shrine it

axes are good but costly...clubs are the cheapest but still a fine weapon

Its 7:00am here...so its not active for sure, also before u start buying from the MP...just make a ISO thread, u will get better deals and ur needs
But always check the mp, they can have goodies for a good price


Robe is the worst choice u could have gotten, for ur barb with high vit and low intel, go with a scale or chain...and then a plate
With ur high vit The defenses will increase more
for levels 30> u dont need EE armors go for strength...if u have a level 15 armor with 20 str and then have a level 25 armor with 15 str...go with the 25...

level 35...if u have an armor with 25+ str and u had an armor with 50EE...go with the strength...these were examples


for ur abilities, with lower end gear, u need to stick to 1 or 2 abilities....retribution, u want to get that proc chance high like 78%
then go for power strike (fighter ability)....put 2 points into that and save them for EPS only...then start pointing into retribution again
Once the deminish starts getting rlly low and not worth pointing, then add more into power strike (higher lvls u wana be able to recharge it and use it before u town/more damage)


Yes if the group made its level range from 1-500 then any level can join...most climbs dont do that tho, but i always do

And I already put 2 clicks into Retribution I think, should I keep clicking that whenever I can or? I tried saving a proc to 200% Retribution and I hit a crit that was 2,3k or so in level 20. It was my highest hit so far

EPS stand for Evil Presence's.
They are basically boss like monsters that are harder to kill, and may give better rewards than normal monsters.

if u only put 2 points into retribution (36%) thats not good, and u cant reset, get smoothly as far as u can then reroll, you want to have a better build

Please tell me u didnt balance out abilities? that will not proc faster than adding into 1 ability

If u did a 2.3k damage attack at level 20, thats overkill, it will slow ur climb down because u want to only get a high enough charge to precisely kill a monster


/edit...each time u add an ability, write it down, u want to remember the proc % how much life u have and everything...ur next build will be much better

What do you mean? My retribution is at 66 now so what should I do? continiue to click on it when I can?

What do you mean balance out? I followed the guide that said 10 into vitality at start and then rest str?

i thought u only put 2 points in retri at lvl 20, my bad...i would go 1 more into it...then 2 into power strike...1 more into retri...then maybe the rest into PS or balance it out, do what u think is best
