This thread is probably pointless but is an ode and a manifistation of my wish to have stable enough net to play. You all hate when I play on mobile and my "clicks" aren't ever high enough so I sort of gave up.


I have all this decent gear though and love to play and was thinking of hawking more good for FG to be more oddly addicted to LS.


If you are my neighbor please move your router like 15 feet eastward.



tl;dr = love LS. internet hard to get here. i'm poor. stealing wifi still sucks in 2016. keep slashing cuz this game is actually awesome.

Not trolling FYI, i've dropped racks of FG on LS. Just never have enough for vault and and once I do my net goes crap...

well id love for you to get back on, if ur neighbor knows ur using his internet then get him a wifi extender.

also drop the quality and use a simple browser, i think chrome the fastest?

/edit edit agin...if u got alot of shit downloaded and are not using a ssd...remove alot disk clean and defrag...If you got 1 gig ram then u should disk clean 1ce a week

And maybe upgrade ur cpu...you can buy a used 1 with plenty of speed for little to nothing.

@ op have you done any networking tests? Pings/traceroutes can tell a lot, even on shitty wifi LS isn't bandwidth hungry and should run fine on lowest quality on dial up.

Could always talk to your neighbor about running a cable from their house to yours.

Where is "here"? My personal satellite is having trouble pinpointing you because you are off the grid and the neighbor's wifi is too weak.

An extender would cut his bandwidth in half but extend the range

Hmm getting over my head a bit. Im in norcal thing has 2gb ram so should be chilling. I should do the defrag cleaning thing as you guys said.

I soloed some last night and wasn't bad but I have a feeling if I join a MQ run ill be that asshole like usual. Trying my hardest but getting made fun of for my clicks.

I collected some great gear, shouldnt have sold some but what can you do? Sometimes you think another game is better but nothing beats LS. As a poor ass person I actually love I have more invested in my LS chars than there is like food and crap in my house,

I haven't tried lately but I swear if we can get mobile slashing like top notching running wise, i'd be on all day. Best game to get drunk/medicated/chill with you guys with. Most people I met throuh LS are bad ass and dudes i'd actually kick it with IRL.

Maybe i'll fish and cook like i'm playing Terraworld. LOL!
