For someone who has never played LS is it that difficult to get into/understand? Also would anyone be willing to go over the basics this evening when I get off of work?

There are several individuals that actively assist newer players with the basics of LS. I will be home later tonight around 10 pm muting that you can message me ingame or pm me. There is also the mentor's listing listed under the Ladder Slasher's Advisors list that you can pm, but I believe alot of those players are not currently active.
