There were those that would hit on him all day (well, a few hours anyway) and obtained unreasonably high prof levels in a super short time.
This was remedied by adjusting the prof gain to max 10 prof points per mob
The high prof points that were obtained in this manner were adjusted to a more reasonable level, by the way.
I remember when I started LS and what you have stated was basically true, they would just pump vitality and just gain profs
from the old Arena / Well that was there... now the 10 max prof points were introduced to counter this abuse... and it was
rightfully needed then, but, with the changes to the game and many updates since then, the limit should be increased because
there is NO way to manipulate how was in the past.
Let us look at simple mathematics.
Maximum 10 points per Wave [solo'ing]
Rank 5 = [6000/6000] to rank 6 = a total of 600 waves or encounters [Note, ensuring you gain the expected 10 prof points], now
if you divide that by 5 people in group, it would only be 1200 prof points and omfg... you don't gain a level in the 1 hour so called full group run.
Anyway... try some maths to calculate the difference between solo/5 person group party etc.
I just think that 15 max prof point gain would be more ideal for a 5 person group run etc.
