Everyone is complaining about everyone who quit Ladder Slasher in the last few updates and about the economy going wrong?
Yet, 90% of these persons on the LS trading forum are not willing to lower the prices of any items they own "because they have paid much more two years ago".
What if you did lower the price, wouldn't that lower the economy, make the game more accessible, and encourage people/newcomers to come back and try it again.
Of course if you expect new players to pay 1,000 forum gold for every single 100%+ EE items you own you're not going to get very far.
But no, most of them prefer to go with the "I'll just keep it if I can't satisfy my own greed" line.
Letting it rot on a mule wont make you much of a winner in any situation, and the game issues aren't just going to magically fix themselves.
You know, sometimes some sacrifices must be made. (maybe lose a bit of forum gold (OH NO!!!) in exchange of more friends to play with?)

In some cases I would rather hold onto gear than let it get sold at clearance prices. Maybe prices will go up one day? maybe someone will desperately need that item and pay the price I want?

I would not do though cause im inpatient gl with your iso

I would pay the same price as 2 years ago for my iso. If an item is worth 10k because it is rare, then let it be worth that much. It makes finding those tough items fun to find

People are madd because of the lack of response from njaguar, changes in game, and the depreciation of the value of their items.
I can only say that, its their fought for buying items at a high price

Personally, i feel the game is a little slow at the moment becasue of the season we are in ( USA point of view )
i find ladder slasher to be on a high when the colder weather is around. So i guess i can call it a seasonal game in my eyes.

I understand what you mean about peoples greed. It is their items, they can do as what they want too with them, and if they want to be selfish and let it rott , let it be.
just shows a person character, even if it is on a forum.
Maybe when the next big update comes out, we will get tons of new players, or alot of the old slashers back at it.

Its hard for me to play this game alone, i rather have company, if not i get bored very fast.

There are too many maybes in these sentences.



I can understand that, but maybe they need to quit waiting for something that might never come and try in a common effort to make some changes themselves, if they care so much about this game.
And yeah, I know what you mean. This game hasn't been fun to play alone ever since they took out the well and the arena. The strong point of this game was the lively community and the fun party climbs. Which are getting rarer and rarer...

still shit doesnt even sell at ridiculous low prices. so thats not the only issue. i placed several items several items as the lowest of their kind on the mp and even lowered the price from there and always got them back. so tell me stories

Nice but I cant even get 50% of what I paid 3-4 months ago. forget 2 years.

lowering the prices would kill everything.

I have seen items that used to sell well over 1000 fg go for like 150 fg and lower.

I don't think lowering the prices will bring more people in if that price drops that much.

And this is the price for people that are quitting.

People that are staying around are selling like the 250-300 range and it does not move due to many people just having quitting lists.


Asking people to lower the low prices will not bring people back into this game.
Issue is that you either do a 1-71 or get suck solo which at times would be faster to reroll rather than playing the rest of the way threw.

And most of these games are set games which have the people already set for the run.
