hmm, i can see what your saying. which updates are considered "bad" (only been back to LS for a few days)

and 1 more question...
is it me or does it seem much easier to climb?

well the statistic speaks for itself, like u said. Back in the days ~400-500 active slashers. now like 100-200 ( if even that ) So . . .

its easier to climb but takes twice the time to reach 71

I was thinking it was easier but took longer... wasnt sure, its been so long since i last slashed....

does it look like njag is going to "revert" so to speak? or least somewhat set it back to what it used to be?

going backwards is not an option.

You can either adapt or not... personally, it is better as it is now, only thing is that the Market is under revision.

most players quit when prof was introduced and you could no longer mute whatever items you want and gain 100k fg / day while touching your penis the entire time

then arena got removed and well was moved into cata, now we are forced to slash in group because solo sucks

I checked youtube and saw nice graphics in a ls version where you attempt the master quests in a place looking like a circus hat ;D
Too bad graphics looks too much as anime cartoons now...but it's still decent.

I believe thaplt were more factors that made some of the players to quit, but it's not important why they leaved, is more important to get more players in and get back the 300-400 rate of active players you mentioned about. I wish to have more players in future!

Sry for my bad eng, (translate.google.se)

Paul has a very difficult job, satisfy us players for each package update he does there are those who like some but not all. no matter what he does there will always be disagreements.

One of the things that there been complaints much is that not everyone was able to pass higher up in classes, because only those with the best equipment was capable of this before.

so Paul changed this game to be very easy by introducing:

1) Proficiencies = higher effect on items. (all items)
2) Weaker monsters (faster travel up to MQ)
3) Skilling = glyffs
4) Shrining = less need for all heals.
*) just a few of the short term changes. (there will be more ofc)

Glyffing is good in the short term, but has a bad effect on the long term. when L10 15 20 25 30 item converted into useful glyffs, still not much item for new players to buy and use on the market. so many new players that start ... stop as quickly. and we need all new players who will grow stronger and feel a part of this comunity and become pros.

I think we all have to help Paul to respond to new players in a better way and take the time to help them. if we do this, maybe this can make more stay and like LS comunity and this game.

Some reasons for fewer plays HC LS now.

1) Knowledge, it needed not much knowledge in this game today to be able to just play.
2) Items, all the top items today is not worth 30% of the value they had before simply because they are not needed anymore in the same way as before.
3) This game has no stability (long term) because of the need for updates to work.
4) Fewer member like to spend big money on LS compaired to how it was before.
5) New players do not stay longer because of bad treatment in the posts on the forum. (by some) and get new players get help from older players ... and they may be very difficult to get equipment.
6) The list goes on ...

the question is: what can i do to help Paul, my self and the new players..?
and what can Paul do to reinforce the need for good equipment and make the game playable for most people. to make this game to easy is fun only for a short period of time, in the long run game become to booring. then all just sit and w8 for an update (a change to the game).

It is hard to make 1 game good for all players. and very hard to make "short time fixes" that also make the game good in the long run..

Feedback plz

In the process of developing the game from the text based clicker it was, into what i imagine will one day be d2jsp based runescape, njaguar destroyed the elements of the game which had appealed to people initially. It use to be a pretty unique, quirky, simple game, and that appealed to many people. Now though it's lost the quirky simplicity.

Also a lot of people just got sick of the constant complete changes in direction - people were building gear sets to be effective for a style of play in one patch which were then nerfed to the point of obsolescence with the next update.
