So my idea is that you should be able to get more than 10 extra stat points. You get the first 10 the same way you do now and after that every 10 mqs you attempt will give you 1 extra stat point. This will keep people who grind for a reset motivated to keep playing so seasons aren't so long etc.

Here are a few notes to keep in mind:

1. As a samurai/paladin/monk/ninja you'd never be able to get more than 10 extra starting points. You need to have a pass rate of 3/140 or 4/150 to get them and I think if you have ~150 mqs and you are still a monk or ninja, having 10 extra starting points is completely fine!

2. This change will mostly affect warlocks, headhunters and alchemists. So by the time you get to +30 extra points, you'd likely be an alchemist and that's considered one of the worst classes anyway.

3. I think people won't like the idea of these stat points being uncapped, even though if a season is long enough for someone to have 600-800 mqs then having extra 60-70 points doesn't seem so crazy imo. You are basically guaranteed to be an alchemist with that many mqs, so this will only really affect alchemist - a class that can't use a weapon.

4. Having this in mind, we can make these points work only for your highest unlocked class, so when you reroll you get the current +20. Or we can add a cap to how many points you can get.

+60-70 or even more stats points from the start would be too OP imo.
Should be capped at 30 maybe, but higher classes would be crazy with that many extra stat points (especially WL).

But hey, Alchy isn't that bad anyway! :D (or just I feel like a salvation after caster HH  )

I'm down for most things that would speed up seasons or make the game more fun, alchemist is terrible to play as u need ~35int++ just to equalize warlock (that's just in raw power) you're still alot worse than a warlock due to abilities (multi is just far superior over chaos).

But yearh being one of the players who "normally" are in the top 3 for each season when it comes to amount of climbs 1:10 ratio might be a bit too op, but that could ofc be changed to a 1:20 or something like that, idk.
We have a few seasons were some of us reach the 500+ each season (even when the game had quicker resets and not these 1,5-2y long seasons). Quicker seasons make more ppl active than these extreme ones at least.

I know 60-70 stat points is a lot, but you are pretty much guaranteed to be an alchemist (no weapon)

The median extra points you should get are up to +12 extra on wl, +24 extra on hh and I guess +96 on alchemist? But you have to keep in mind that this is assuming you would be the only alchemist in the game with 900 mqs, that will statistically never happen :D. When you're competing with all the rest of the alchemists in the game, you need to collectively do 720 on average for a random one of you to reset.

So while +60 points will definitely be possible, that will only work on alchemist in some weird scenarios.

I agree with Nic though , we've had some shorter seasons where people are active and still reach 400-500 mqs so things can be adjusted

A few extra things to think about:

1. On average, you would be headhunter by the time you get +12 extra points. And by the time you get to +24 extra points
on hh, you should be unlocking alchemist.
Headhunder needs +20 stat points (15 for int, 5 for vita) to match a monk's stats when offcasting. I think in 2026 almost everybody goes 40 vita in a whistle climb that goes to 83-85, so you do need that 5 points for vita. Which means that by the time your headhunder starts becoming a better offcaster than a monk (20+ points) you should statisically be unlocking alchemist. Someone will always be unlucky and get stuck or get stuck on wl.

2. Also keep in mind that if your wl gets extra 25 starting points to put in int, that isn't even 10% extra int for any player in the game. You start with 95 int (with the 20 extra you put in int), you get to ~150 at 55, and 40 int staff + robe should be possible for literally anyone. So even if your wl gets extra 25 points (you need to be 5/310) that's barely a 10% boost to int to the worst player in the game. For people with better gear, that's not even a 10% int boost. And 10% boost to inteligene doesn't mean 10% dmg boost since charms have base dmg. So even if your wl gets +25 points, that just means your wl will be 5%? better than it normally would.

No. This just benefits group climbers while doing nothing for solo players (because solo players tend to have far fewer MQ's done).

I want to see a suggestion that will help solo players, ty.
