When you die in LS you lose proficiency, so the question is if I'm use sword do I just lose on the sword skill. Or will it effect every other one aswell? Or if I have a say ice picked as attack do lose on sword?

You lose a certain percent from all profs with exception of skilling
but you never go down to a lower level

Thank you, I do have another question about fishing tho. Like if a rod requires a skill level. Do that mean you proficiency need to be that level or total skill proficiency equal it?

You can use about any but best to use rod closest to your fishing level.

Use the level tier rod which you are nearest. For example I am lvl7 fishing prof using elm rod (skill rank req 10) and fishing for lvl 11 fish at the pond.
Look for rods with durability, the proficiency mod doesn't seem to provide any benefit from what I can tell.

Even plain rods with no durability will be better than loaner rod they give you - it will feel 10x easier lol
