Should there be a "Ladder Slasher History" Thread based around the game mechanics during those periods and updates?

From my experience starting around v1.15;

Catacombs: I could play it solo, and when I was exploring, the monster spawn ranged from 1 to 9 (as if I was in a full group).
Catacombs: If I was in a full group and a player died during a monster encounter, the entire group would be thrown out of that run (basically disbanded) and had to re group for a new group climb.
Catacomb: You could not go to town to shrine items, the group would be disbanded.
Catacomb: you could ONLY have player characters within 5 levels of your group join in, no higher or less. (and Bridging came into effect)
Well: this was in town, not found in catacomb and was permanent.
Master Quest Level was ONLY level 71 for every class
Objectives did not include Enhanced Effect, Mirror Maze (and maybe one or 2 more)
No Maze No More people could farm this objective
Seven Shamans never had a level limit before it got retired (removed from the list), also, this was farmed beforehand.
... etc, there are many stories.

Now prior to v1.15, I believer there was no Hardcore? Muting did not have a Prof requirement, profs like melee, cast did not have a maximum of 10 per wave, drop quality was poor, as well as quantity. I don't even think there was a Guardian, or a Marketplace (however, it maybe my speculation based on older players that are no longer around.)

I think it would be nice if Historical Ladder Slasher thread be introduced in the stickies... no full on details of Updates, just how it was played, as for the updates... just have a link when mentioning it during the write up.

My favorite was that magic find buff that would stack as you killed more monsters. The buff resets when you go to town. This drove up the value of heal charms like crazy.

But then Paul decided that was too OP so he removed it… it was fun while it lasted.

Second favorite would be throwing items into the well……. in town.

True, I suppose I was more after things that are factual, like Datis reaching level 200 character first, or level 300, when he achieved that, what patch was around then in comparison to the latest update ... he could not have reached it so easily now, so this would mean that BMWComformity (forgot the real username) has the record now for highest level reached on a character.

Also note, when Datis reached those levels, he also found a fault with the Minimap going OFFSCREEN, to navigate a level 90 catacomb there completely, it was larger than the current Settings to minimap now... navigating was anoying, just using the Maze to guide, was interesting also... yup, hated that group run when he created the catacomb with his high level character for group runs... :D
