My Hero Academia gets better the more you watch imo.
Hellsing is good.
Black Clover isn't bad.
Jujutsu Kaisen is popular
Berserk is great and dark

I've known him since we were 6 (mid 30s now lol)

He hasn't seen the classics yet hence why my suggestions were so cut dry.
It actually warms my heart that he finally.is getting into anime cuz we used to watch a blockbuster.movie every weekend lol.
And he never got into anime with me.
So im trying to suggest a good foundation

I do think some of these are actually really.good though
