I’ve gotten approximately 50 Guild Points before when the game was newer but there have been a lot of changes and the game isn’t as active anymore.

Having said this, give me your advice/tips you wish you had known earlier on?

A specific question I have is would you go melee or mage at this point if you were starting over? What kinds of items would you prioritize getting first. If someone wanted to be able to climb quickly in solos but also likes to do multiplayer with randoms what %EE or stat gear would you recommend at minimums and what would you think the player should budget for that gear?

I’m at the point where I’ve gathered some FG I’m just deciding what I should build and what items I should be prioritizing keeping in mind id like above average gear and really nice MQ Gear?

Melee, daggers, scales for tank, dex charms.
For solo around 100 ee will suffice if you're patient.
Of course for groups, the better the group is as a whole, the more likely they're going to want you to be the same in terms of gear. Not all though, this is still probably the best group of people to play a game with

Swords will get you from feeder thru pally, then youd need daggers or staves to get thru monk, and then ninja can use swords too. MQ EE around 150+ wouldnt be too horrible, still fairly expensive if you get daggers or axes. Off casting is now very popular, or was not too long ago. Just annoying without gg gear.

DO NOT delete any chars ....the new max per core is 8 so you can't remake new chars unless you want to play some HC

Thank you for your insight. I thought swords were pretty rare

MY advice is don't buy any items from anyone or the shop and just run bufcore. The most fun experience imho.

You can pay to change the name if you really dislike them

Wouldnt bother with swords. Axes and daggers get you through the melee classes.

Reason why so expensive but you can probably upgrade as you progress.
