i just start on lvling into glyphing and tried a few things

also for example a tier I glyph with 15 ee

i use this glyph on a lvl 55 weapon but it doesn‘t increase the dmg of the weapon

So my question: is there also a lvl cap in using glyphs vs equpied weapon or something else? Like for example if i use a glyp Tier III with +40 ee it will works only for Tier I - Tier III to increase the equiped weapon dmg, do I understand this right or am i complete wrong?

ee increases the length of the glyph, does not apply EE to items

just as another example, you cannot glyph an item which only has enhanced effect. (i.e magical bronze sword with 40ee CANNOT be glyphed) simply because the glyph would literally do nothing.
A tier 3 glyph with 50ee and 1 strength will get a glyph lasting 22.5 minutes instead of 15 minutes which gives 1 strength

so for example a tier V Glyph with 6 critical strike will also works for a lvl 55 Weapon?

so the glyph affects YOU, not any specific item. if you have 10 strength on a sword or weapon or charm, it doesnt matter, the 10 strength is at the same effectiveness for each


You also cannot stack glyphs, so lets suggest we have these 2 glyphs and we wanted to use them both at the same time:


Rare glyph VII
Level Req: 20
Use Item to Receive Effect
Effect Duration: 35 minutes

+14 Strength
+3 Life Regen
+1 to 2 Mana per Attack
+1% Armor Pierce
+5% Parry
+4% Mana Syphon
+2% Glancing Blow
+4% Lightning Mastery

Mythical glyph VIII
Level Req: 25
Use Item to Receive Effect
Effect Duration: 40 minutes

+189 Max Life
+5% Damage Return
+3% Mind Numb
+19% Heal Mastery
+2% Glancing Blow

unfortunately this will not be possible as both glyphs have glancing blow

Magical glyph IV
Level Req: 5
Use Item to Receive Effect
Effect Duration: 24 minutes

+20% Enhanced Effect
+10 Strength
+12 Dexterity
+3 Critical Strike

this one cannot be used with the first glyph (both have strength), but would work with the second glyph (all stats are different)

What I meant was, if I use a glyph with like for example 6 critical strike, can I then use it in the catacombs with any lvl weapon or only up to the glyph's lvl to get this bonus?

+ one question more, how mich ee is max on glyphs with for example Tier III without suffusencing? 60ee?

as i said, the glyph affects you. doesn't matter what your gear is.

you can use a tier V glyph at level 70, so it will be fully effective at all levels. Wouldnt be able to use it till level 10 though.
