Hi all!
So I've been playing for a bit (Hardcore...'cause I ain't scared!).
I see lot a of people seem to be friendly and generally help each other. Can someone explain why being in a guild is better (or worse) for a casual player like me?
As said above by SCXiao, it tracks your GPs which is nice, it also provides the guild you join with GPs, which has some value. More likely to get help with gear, especially early mutables from a guild seeing guildies can vault them. guildies are generally slightly more likely to sell you stuff.
HC has a good variety to choose from, although not necessarily all the guilds will accept. EE for example is mostly invite only. A few may show interest.

I usually play as I have time at work or home but usually can't chat much and I have no idea how Discord actually works.
Thanks and happy slashing.
phone or computer player? if you're on computer discord is very simple to have in the background. On phone it's slightly more annoying, but still useful to request assistance with sneaky.
If you have any interest in faster climbs of 5 man whistling from 1 to MQ, discord is generally where we organise it. Although on hardcore, just keeping an eye out for level 1 groups may also do it
