That is strange that you lost a level and went negative, however thanks to Paul's update those emblems can steal exp. Just wasn't aware this could happen.

I wonder what would happen if you were level 40 and equip new lvl 40 gear, then this happens? Would the EQ be unusable? Essentially rendering you naked? Then you spawn mobs and get 1 shot cause naked?

I don’t think so. He retained his level. Just negative on the exp by the looks of it.

I was thinking what if a lvl 1 player with little experience gets this…..does it make him lvl 0? Does hos equipped gear become useless? Etc….
