Yes they are and ppl buy good ones for big amounts of fg.

The higher the lvl of the map, the better.

Good stats are:

+Evil presences
+Treasure chests
+monster difficulty
+item stat quality

Then there are evil well maps which are worth about 50fg per well.
For these maps it's better the lower the map lvl is.

So a map with +2 wells and 4 quantity and Tier 1-3 will sell for ~400fg.
