It is believed that mobs (especially eps) between levels 55-64 have the highest drops of 55s... You can also get 55s from killing mobs in trap doors at even lower levels

Tbh, I don't really know, but I don't ever see many good drops above level 70-75. Rng I guess

Welling:

While welling an item, you can get side drops that are two(2) Tiers higher... so... if you drop a Tier XII white into the well, there is a chance that a side drop Tier XIV would appear (level 45 minimum to have a chance that a level 55 would appear)

I like this method, not only for Tier XIV ... but also lower tiers dropped into the Well.

In the past, you had to be one(1) tier level higher than the drop quality ... example... level 10 character will only find level 5 items from the monster (maximum Tier dropped) ... now it is different, you don't need to be level 60 to guarantee that a level 55 item will drop. There are some things that can improve it.

Trap door monsters can increase the drop quality of items even if you are lower level.
Well monsters as previously mentioned.
Maps & Events and so forth help.

Finding whites that are Tier XII+ are harder to find compared to the past... Evil Presence no longer drop Whites like they used to ... this change made an impact to LS ... also... farming the 7 Shamans used to produce a lot of whites and items at their spawn level, but again, updates ruined this method as well ... No Maze No More ... one of the best farming in the past for items (Tier based as well as whites) has been nerfed.

So you are just left with crumbs ... Welling for higher tier side drops (but 0 whites) and also killing Evil Presence (again, 0 whites drop) at a minimum level of 4 (maybe 7) ... okay... example... you are level 57 ... you can (if lucky) find a White Tier XIV from a normal monster or a chest... highly unlikely because of the % chance of it dropping ... now... if you are level 59 ... the % Drop rate MAY (may) increase your chances ... but highly unlikely ... now 65, more of a chance right? We don't know... the mechanics is fickle and you can only rely on RNG.

Pre-death-farm going away, I tried some "testing" around higher level affecting loot. Granted my sample sizes were nowhere near sufficient enough to be considered "solid" but...

Referring to finding T15 Items in general (mainly farming EPs)
- Did "feel" better past 55, roughly 64-68
- Going past 70 didn't seem to have any effect. Didn't get worse, but didn't get better. Could be 75+ and kill an EP that drops one Tier-1 item. Then next set spits out 2 T15s. Just RNG shenanigans.

Again, very limited sample-size, but tried keeping track across a few toons, including a death-farmer, and that was MY findings.

Hope that helps. I have a theory that new-players farming FG who have a decent weapon/armor will actually want to go past 71 on a feeder, just for some extra grinding time before they MQ. Considering they won't have crazy leveling-sets, it'd make sense for the time investment.

Thanks, and may i ask about stat points awarded after soing MQ, they only add up to 10 on successful complete or even at fail?

Actually forget, but I believe it's +1 extra stat, even if you fail, but it caps at 12.

Hopefully someone can clarify this, but IF I RECALL, after your first 2 MQ attempts (even if you fail) you're at the new starting cap of 12-stats instead of the default 10.

Feeder = +1 Stat per Master Quest, if you fail 5 times, you get 5 stat points (if you pass to Samurai on the 6th Master Quest, you will only get 3 points becuase:
Samurai = +1 Stat completing 2 Master Quests ... this changes again with Paladin:
Paladin = +1 Stat completing 3 Master Quest ...

Feeder 10 max (10 MQ attempts) - Fail all is nice.
Samurai 10 max (20 MQ attempts) - Pass & Failed
Paladin 10 max (30 MQ attempts) - Pass & Failed

Think these are the correct numbers... if you pass beforehand, the additional stats will change. Hope this makes sense.
