Obviosly like many new players i was death farming which is no more, so i guess the only part of the game left is doing MQs. I cant yet assemle a arm and wep set for the character i was playing - barb. Not to talk about samurai which cannot use axes (the weapons i sorta have)

So here is the question... is there a point of keep doing over and over MQ with the barb class? And whats the benefit of doing so.

Note: i dont know any one from the LS community so im ramming solo :-/

By using always the same characters you can improve your proficiency that will give you better damages over the time.
You can also start skilling and then after investing time in it you will make money from it or simplify your climbs.
And since it's pure luck running maps/exploring can make you also find stuff over the time and then progress with various classes.

You have enough fg for a sword set that can get you past Paladin. While you solo your barb and regen time, you can look for people selling a set.

Ofc once you hit monk, might wanna seek a staff set or dagger.

You also have enough fg to get a dagger set that you can use on rogues/samurai/monk/ninja. If you already have axes I suggest buying a cheap dagger set.

The main benefit of doing barb climbs over and over is you can sell whites/mutes for fg to buy new gear so you can climb the other characters, and slowly build up sets.

Daggers/axes will allow you to climb every character until warlock, where you will need to invest in casting gear. That is a loooooong ways away so I wouldn’t fret about it right now

I agree with this.
I went swords/staves
But it basically made me have to buy a str and a dex set.

If you have axes. Collect dex charms n armor and a cheap dagger set. Cuz daggers can piggy back off the dex gear. Which will get you to warlock.
This reasoning is because axes can go with either dex or str
Avoiding having to buy str in its entirety is def cutting a corner.
You can't death farm anymore but you certainly power through as a feeder and not care about deaths or exp.

By the time you get to Warlock I'd assume you would have enough fg to make a budget cast set


You may need to buy some robes here or there but whatever

So you all guys are saying buy a dagg set and try pass MQ with samurai is smarter than just farming over and over mq on the barb?

also is it better "whistling" till certain lvl when doing this runs and if so untill which lvl is good to do so for faster exping

you don't get ep while whistling, I prefer to do /set easy 1 and explore to get chest / ep / loot

yea im aware of that but does it worth looking for ep and chests before lets say lvl 30-35 ?

yes low lvl gear can be expensive too
