I have 14, but I can't create a new one:
It says: you cannot create anymore characters.

8 SC + 8 HC = 16

max is 8 characters per core.

EDIT: and I feel your pain... I would rather have 16 HC characters since I only play that core... the same would go if I was playing SC and wanted to create a New SC character after deleting a previous made one.

what happens when 1hc char dies? you can make new hc or only a sc ?

Only SC... that is why I have 3 SC characters that replaced 3 of my HC character deaths.

It should probably just tell that you have reached the cap for SC or HC characters 14/8 SC in this case. And also up front before deleting any other characters.
That would be great to know.
