#1: A New modifier for Melee.
... +X-X% Mana Steal (same as life steal, but only based on melee attacks stealing Mana)
Note: Not sure how Mana Syphon works... is it Melee, Cast or when monster Casts mechanics.

#2: A New modifier: (depends on how Mana Syphon works)
... +X% Life Syphon (same as Mana Syphon, but works vs monsters with Life Steal melee attacks??? You syphon back hit points??? Well... depends on Mana syphon mechanics to reverse the effect for Life Syphon)

#3: Make "Max 10 prof" gain per wave vs each Item Action... example;
... you encounter a 3 mob wave. You can gain 1-10 maximum prof points for Melee attacks, &/+ attack casting &/+ Healing ... So per wave encounter, you can TRY to get maximum of 10 prof points in Each (wpn/cast & heal) = 30 total. NOTE: this concept is extremely hard to do with current mechanics outside of Bufcore solo runs.

#4: Add in either New "Areas" or "Maze Objectives" for the following:
... "Lake Devastation" (this can be either a new Area, or you have to complete a "Maze" to get to the destination). the "Lake of Devastation" has the same(or higher) fishing chances similar to that in a Well, maybe even more prof gain based on Rank?
..."Goblin Kings Gorge" (again, either a new Area or complete a Maze to get there) ... This is a boss fight... higher Drop quantity &/or quality based on character(s) level.
... "Ogre Bridge" (again, Area or Maze to get there) ... Another boss fight (Ogre regenerates X hit points per sec), harder than Goblin King and drops a bit higher.
... "Troll Village" (again, Area or Maze to get there) ... Another boss fight (Troll regens and double damage etc however, you may pay a toll to pass... as in forum gold) ... harder than Ogre.
... "Cyclops Trench" (again, Area or Maze to get there) ... Another boss fight... Hey... people can add in their ideas here.
... "Dragon Alps" (note... could not think of any other boss type monsters like Chimera etc... again, Area or Maze to get there) ... yup, Boss fight etc (add in information).
... "Demon Cove" (again Area or Maze to get there) blah as before.
... "Demon Lord Domain" (again Area or Maze to get there) ... maybe you have to be a certain level to unlock this like Objectives... and maybe you have to complete the previous Areas and kill off Goblin King, Ogre, Troll, Cyclops, Dragon, Demons etc.

That is just off of my head while intoxicated... :D

Add in your points of view.

EDIT: I voted "this one, that one" ... I actually prefer #4.

1.life steal is bad, so mana steal will be bad too, we have already to many shit modifier
2. nn more useless modifier,
only usefull new modifier, would be more damge mods.(+cirt damage, maybe ele convert (10% of lightning as extra fire [like in poe]), x% chance to to y% aoe dmg, x% chance to charge ability faster, x% more ability dmg ) //(maybe new items who only have ability multipliers, but will never happen so nn to write wall of text :D
3. why not.
4. new Objectives why not, but first it should be possible to unlock nmnm solo.

I don't have time to write a wall of text, because it takes me too long, but I like most of these ^^

But to be fair #1 and #2 will probably make it even harder to get a good drop, so probably No unless other things change first, also not sure how life syphon would work, but it sounds cool :D

#3 and #4 are both great imo! #3 is actually a very good solution to only getting 10 prof in 1 fight when you often have to heal/cast/attack immune monsters with weapons

And I like #4, it would be cool to spawn boss monsters like this, maybe they can have a fixed drop too. Like Troll village always drops angelic+ 55 item, Demon Cove always drops epic+ item etc.

I like the life syphon idea (passive healing :D)
Don't see all the new objective part how they could behave but why not

Thanks a lot, as for your reply to #2 and POE ... I made a suggestion a year or four ago where +X% Lightning Mastery added that % of Lightning damage to your Melee attack, even IF you were not wearing a Lightning charm... it was based on the Physical damage you deal... so if you did 100 physical damage and had +2% Lightning damage, you would inflict 2 Lightning damage... even though it seems minuscule, it would help Melee characters vs Soften the Sneaky Shell (maybe the more intelligence your character has increases that as well.)

Thanks... #4 would be either a New Area that you can enter from town, as for clearing a Maze to get to the boss, then there would be a new area and you have to complete each one by either your character level or group level... the Maze is NOT square in my opinion, you would have to find the right path to get there... so, you would NOT have a Fixed size Map like we normally have in a Catacomb or Map maze. Hopefully that makes sense.

however,

i kinda like the more objectives, wondering on the difference of Demon Cove and Demon Lord Domain. Is that like world stone ends in the the throne room/world stone keep?

I am leaving my vote open for now, I do love the idea of adding more objectives, but right now my biggest 'want' is some changes that will help spark group play activity.
The one thing I have noticed a HUGE difference with since my return to LS (from 2016/17) is groups are few and far between these days, and that is a bummer for me because I prefer group over solo.
So, before I voice my opinion on anything with item mods, mechanics, or new objectives, I'd rather see some changes to incentivize people to group play more. I imagine there are tons of guild groups going at all times, which is obvious, but I remember it being much easier to start a group and group climb with other non-guildies. NOW, it seems as though unless you have an "in" with people or certain guilds, it's very hard to come across spontaneous groups.

Shout out to those who have taken me in to climb with them - regardless of guild representation or having an established relationship - I have been able to meet and climb with some established people/guilds and it has been great - I appreciate you!!! Again, just very few and far between.
