I just did some fishing and the first well lasted about 800 prof, second one about 2300 and the third about 200. I think well longevity affects it too and so does the speed of catching fish, because if you catch them faster you spawn more monsters.

It looks like a well would last an average of 1-1.5k prof, which is way too low. You already need a well to get rid of white items so if you need multiple wells for fishing too, that's pretty bad.

The easiest solution is to make the wells last about 3 times as long IMO, because you can get about 3-5k prof in a day, so you can at least do that in 1 well.

Or make fishing skip 1 tier in pond per 20 ranks instead of 15 in a well, OR give us 8 more item slots!

I had the same conclusion around 1-1.2k per well on average,

Completly aligned:
I have an additionnal proposal if not, add in the set-up like the stacking option a feature with:

* Auto snack or trash fish under treshold (set-up applying to life & mana) : (value)

So in short if we set-up 200 as the value, most of the sardines / herrings / cods could be trashed and would ease also the elitist that want's to keep only the top tier.

If not people needs to accept to pay 1fg per 400 life :D

Awhile ago, I had made a post about an idea for fishing and having a catchand release feature cant remember when I posted it 😂.
It would be under settings right under the auto stack % setting. It would be a drop down list that would have a minimum/maximum requirement for you to select from (only allow you to select tiers based on current skill rank). I personally think if you caught 3 tiers below what the currently have selected would be fine and give you 4 different tier fish spread. That way you can do more targeted fishing if you want fish certain tiers of fish for cooking/suffusence.

But definitely agree something needs to be done with fishing. It gets soooo cumbersome and you literally dont have enough inventory to really manage all the varieties of fish.

high level fishing seems miserable which is a major deterrent for wanting to progress. I hope some changes are made to help fishing

I think fishing update was awesome but fishing itself was gutted as it relies on a well.

wells need to last a MINIMUM of 5-10 items and a MINIMUM of ~500 fish
even then the fishing is still pretty much wrecked, not sure i can be bothered with it any more

I'd love to see a new type of item that gives Extra Items Slot (adjust slots per tier), so something that would occupy 1 inv slot but expand slots by X amount

something new that players can loot and trade..

i would even pay fg to increase the item slots

Item management is intended to be tedious. Try renting a vault!
