Hi guys,

was wondering if the rate to find a well is really that less or if I am just unlucky.
Played 5 times to mq so far, haven't seen a single evil well.

And another question, bc I am new:

Till ~lvl 10 I find a Map by completing every maze I start. After that I get a treasure.
Is there a lvl cap to find Maps? Where else can they drop? Where will no Maps drop?

Maps only drop in catacombs.
When you use a map you dont get a map drop at the end just a chest.

Wells are random, you could get 0 in a map or ive seen me find 4 in some well events.

Sometimes people give wells away here

As I said before discord could help.
We randomly have wells in a map we don't need and announce it to everyone

so you get map drops for completing a catacombs (do not use a map)
Get a treasure chest at the end for completing a map.

Trap doors and Evil wells do not spawn on maps (unless the map specifically has +x evil wells, even then on rare occasions it can not spawn due to it spawning on the last cell which is overriden by the chest drop)

Worth noting the cap on mob levels per map, if you're doing a patched map at level 55, you're not going to get much exp and it'll be an enormous waste of time
In general avoid levelling past the top level of the map

It took me asking to figure this out, incase you are in the same boat I was:

Evil well is just a Normal well that you drop an item in and you fight the monster that spawns.
Until I knew that I was waiting for a special Evil well, not a regular old well that spawns as you're exploring catacombs.
