a friend of mine rents from us and will be using my wifi
she just created an account from phone but when she gets here (shes at work atm) she will probably be on pc
thus on same ip

As long as you both follow the rules on the site there shouldn't be a issue. Mount Olympus have 3 users in same household and been playing so.

my son has his own account, on his own pc, on the same wifi i have at home.. and no problems?

I have poonhunter6k over my house a lot.
And he uses my net/pc It shouldn't matter what IP it is as long as you are actually individual entities.

As long as you don't do anything wrong you are fine. I still sent a heads Up to a staff member when i Planned to stay at another Users Location

One Account per Person.
So multiple Accounts per IP is allowed.
Remember If one gets in trouble, everyone else does aswell.
So be careful who you share with.

While we're on the topic.. Does anyone know why it's only 1 account per person here?
Think on social media etc. it's because of fake/bot accounts boosting followers and likes and there's money involved..
But here I'm not really sure, I can't think of anything you can do with multiple accounts that would be a problem

Ghost bids? I assume if you have 2 accounts you can jack up offers on your own items with another account.
That's 1 issue I could think of.
Another one would be bumps.

I personally don't know why anyone would want 2x accounts tbough. I can barely keep track of 1 🤣
