(This explanation is for iPhones, but I’m sure there’s a way to do it on other phones as well.)


It is quicker to explore catacombs if you “/set easy 0” when walking over previously explored tiles, but it can be annoying to switch back and forth between easy mode and regular mode frequently.

Settings -> General -> Keyboard -> Text Replacement

Set up some shortcuts similar to the ones I used below:



With these settings, when I type “qqq” in chat I am given the autocorrect option of “/set easy 0”. When I type “www” I am given the autocorrect option of “/set easy 1”.

Hope this is beneficial to some of you.


E: You have to hit the shift key first or it will try to type “/Set” with a capital “S” which will give you an “Error: No such command.” because the commands are case sensitive.

Doesn’t easy mode only apply to the first MQ of a character?

No you can use it any time, it's only the default that changes

You can always use it, but it only works up to level 71. Hopefully one day it’ll be updated to go all the way up to your character’s MQ level, but I won’t hold my breath.

Im probably doing something wrong but i have the case correct but when i type it in it shows as capitalized

Hit shift on the keyboard first. And you don’t have to select it after you type the command — you can just hit “return/enter” and it’ll automatically convert to the command.

If you don’t hit shift to shift to lowercase it’ll automatically capitalize the first letter or your entry, regardless of whether or not you capitalized it.

Ahh okay. Hit shift so its typed as qqq instead Qqq. That makes sense now i guess. Works. Thanks man.
