Did u combine your life/Mana fish or Max out a stack?
No stack is maxed... I am testing.
I had like 1 or 2 stacks with either + Life and the other + Mana (that only took up two slots out of 16)
Five slots with fish were all SINGLE fish and not stacked, since I like to cook fish based on the amount (life &/or mana).
Basically, the fish I was cooking, was not in a Stack, it only took up one(1) slot... thus, I should still be able to cook it without the message "Your inventory is full, drop something first." ... since it is the same slot, I should have been able to cook it in the same slot position... this is just my thought on this, and the mechanics of the game means that I have to keep 1 slot clear out of 16.

yes its normal, unless you are cooking a stack of 1, you'll need an empty slot.
for the way autostack works is that the cooked fish will appear in your inventory in a new space, it will then check if it should be placed onto a stack, if it then finds a stack it will add to it.
Exact same for fishing, a new fish is caught, it goes into a new space, looks for a stack to join then joins the stack if possible.
But notice it does appear in inventory first, if you pay attention you'll actually see it go into inventory before disappearing into a stack.
Thanks... it just means you have to have 1 slot free for either stacks and cooking or single fish cooking and stacking them independently.
