I don't know how many people are actually playing/muting on phone but I do enjoy muting on phone while on the run and outside and want to kill some time.
But I find it hard to see the red on red color on the bar and know when to switch over from transmute to stabilize. Would be nice if the color of either of the bars would be a other color so it would be easier to see. I'm using a Samsung phone with standard browser. Dunno if the color is easier to see on other brand with other browser?

Other thing that is struggling when muting on the phone is the distance between the buttons ( transmute / stabilize / abort ). You don't have much space in between them so when fatfingering sometimes you accidentally abort a mute here and there. Would be nice to have it option to remove the button through settings. Myself never used the abort button though but in case someone using it we could at least have it optional in settings to remove it.

Posting this suggestion on phone so will probably edit and tweak the info and s/s itself when back at the pc to make it more clean and maybe more understandable if its confusing.
Giving options in the poll to vote on both suggestions, one only or neither or if you have other suggestion to tweak this.

Yes to both. Especially the abort one I was thinking of raising a suggestion myself recently lost 3 or 4 mutes right near the end coz of fat fingers. I don’t know why an abort would be needed? If you can’t finish it just let the volatility bar do its thing.

I don't transmute, nor do I play LS on a phone/tablet. However I have a suggestion.

Arrow Keys for "Stabilize" / "Transmute" and "Abort". so you have;

< "Stabilize" (pressing the left side of the screen) ... > "Transmute" (pressing the right side of the screen) and maybe star or hash to "Abort"

Anyway, just a suggestion that may be thought about... please note that the < & > symbols I posted is from a PC using Shift + comma and fullstop... maybe it could be set to either Hash / Star or even the number 0 on our phone... remember, just a thought to help your suggestion.

Yeah well if you put a item into transmuting and start transmuting it , even if abort the item will be gone. I think ( my own guess ) is the use for abort button is if someone by mistake put a item in that they dont want to transmute, accidentally pressed transmute BUT didnt press transmute afterwards they still have chance to get the item back if they press the abort button. But i have never heard anyone use it or by mistake put a item in that they didnt mute. On the other hand, several people have shrined items by mistake xD So thats why we gotten that extra safety now that you need to put the item into the shrine and then press "sacrifice item" button.

I don't know what phone you have but nowadays i think 95% have smartphones ( even my dad that is 79 use a smartphone ) but you dont have physical buttons ( besides on / off, volume up etc ) that you suggest you would press when muting ( number 0, star/hash ).
Those buttons used to be on the old phones like Nokia 3310.
To get up a on screen keyboard function on smartphone you would most likely fuck up the whole transmuting and playing on LS i would guess, never tried but. I think my suggestion is easier and smoother.

Also the negative thing with having buttons to press for transmuting ( even thou i would enjoy it while on PC and not sitting hours a day pressing the mouse, but to switch up and use keyboard instead ) is the people that botting, i think it would be easier to program such thing when you have option to use buttons instead as it is now when having to press with the mouse on certain areas on the screen.

its a no from me. muting is already the easiest skill
abort is there in case you put in your unspawn and can still save it before pressing transmute

I guess I did not word it properly... I was not indicating pushing buttons on a phone, I was trying to establish that D2jsp could incorporate arrow keys for transmuting, just like a phone user exploring a catacomb pressing the arrows on the touch-screen.

Basically, I play on a PC... if I only had one arm / hand, I can still play by clicking on the arrows to navigate a catacomb, thus, it should also be an option for Transmuting... hey... I don't transmute or play on a phone, but even when fishing, you should have the same option with touch screen.

Please remove the abort button.
