Just an idea caused by recent deaths on HC and high end items being lost forever. What if we are to choose someone from our group that can loot our corpse if we die? Something similar to d2 corpse looting.
I only play solo and I wont really benefit from this but I feel like it would make people want to play in a group more.
HC is almost dead at this point. Maybe it would be less frustrating for people that die.

I could see myself trying to get some of the people with the best items to RIP on purpose if this was implemented

my MQ heal on HC is only 92ee so I need an upgrade

While losing the prof is a gut punch itself, getting the gear back kind of goes against a true HC playstyle. D2 was an oddball with the corpse looting thing tbh

Diablo was also one of the first games to have terrible drop rates.

I vote no, first thought about this is people will be trying to get others killed for their gear.

Yeah I thought of that thats why I think that a player should choose who can loot his corpse

I'd take d2 drops over LS

Remove hc. Let the boomers rage but they join the other boomers on SC and make more boomer friends
