Just wondering why there is an abort button in the transmute box.
If you fail a transmute do you lose experience or something?

Always wondered this myself. I've lost cost on how many times I hit it accidentally from sneezing or coughing or just not paying attention.

I think if you click it very early on you can (sometimes?) keep the item. I think I have had this happen when I accidentally put an item in the glyphing box when I was actually planning to transmute it, so I aborted it and was able to keep the item. Or maybe it was the other way around

If you start the muting process, but do not press the Transmute button, you can abort and keep the item.

Good to know the exact mechanic because I've definitely noticed sometimes I kept it and other times no

I agree. I’ve had times where hitting abort without ever clicking mute or stabilize still sometimes causes the item to be deleted.

The game isn’t supposed to be simple so it’s a minor inconvenience. Just keeps you on your toes for your next item you mute

i wanna guess its there for 3 reasons

accidently putting wrong item in to mute, u can stop and it wont delete item(if ur fast enough)

allow ppl to stop doing a 4-10min mute if climb is rdy to start

prevent botters or other programs from having to just focus on 1 button, but now avoid the 2nd 1 (im not sure how it works but figured it started early on with this)

My question is why a magical+ essence and an item = nothing on succesful transmute? Also why the same process results into a white item? Makes no fk sense.
