if you are really picky about which items to mute then i imagine it can be a challenge however with my rank i can do arcane T3s> but only do T4 magical plus's.. in the case of this event i will go the mid tier V5's... as long as i mq once every couple days i spend as much time muting as climbing most of the time
Edit: and i RARELY buy mutes
I mute all T6, all T7 and up to Mystical T8, all that gives prof actually.
Faster glyphing actually helps because you can glyph higher then you usually could, but muting just increases the speed, there is no problem at all in being able to mute your max possible items.
