I do find it ironic how much prof was stressed in last update, and now it's rendered essentially useless this one?

Paul does some weird things, where he contradicts himself in the direction he's going, for example, all the people that have been soloing for last months to get good prof for casting, it's useless, and now they can't solo anymore.

I'm impartial, i'm just saying it's odd how he changes the game in such a particular, contradictory and negative way.

How can it come as a surprise to you that casting got nerffed?

When casting in Arena on even the melee chars was way faster then actually meleeing it got nerff'd.

Now when a bunch of caster sammys could MQ in 2 hours, what happened? That's right. nerff hammer.

See the pattern?

I didn't say i'm surprised..

I'm saying it seems brutal to lead players one way, as to stress prof so much, and then to render it completely useless the next update.

This game is about longterm play, and cumulative play.

We all gain kills, prof, mQ's, set ups etc..

So i think it's odd that he does that.

I would say congrats to you who gained caster prof last update because there is no more gaining 20+ profs ever.

I love the new update. I don't see what all the fuzz is about. Like already stated not a single one of you here knows anything about Pauls vision for this game. It seems like some of you people complaining and threatening to quit can't see the forest because of all the trees.

You're missing the point, i'm saying there should be some consistency to this game, to which we can all rely.

Hypothetically, if paul said he doesn't like the idea of guild points / guilds anymore, so he deletes all guilds/gps, and says people can simply play for their own enjoyment to reset it, and also said there aren't enough good items, so he made it so 200+ ee items daily in catas, causing a huge economy crash, it would be devistating and unfair to those who spent hours, weeks, un-imaginable times or money on this game, all to be rendered useless.

I'm saying there should be a bit of stability to the game.

I just want to solo again.

More people soloing = more people total = more people enjoying the updates that he put so much time into. Everybody wins

Here is your stability: When Paul implents something new you can bet your ass it will get nerff'd into oblivion if it's overpowered.

And that's a good thing.

And if people enjoy it, you can bet it's probably short lived too

People arent quitting over the AoE cast nerf tho, actually more people might enjoy that one then dislike it
