are you serious?? they have to work equally as much to kill things as a melee character now. except with melee you can easily chain 3x longer than ANY CASTER. and then guess what!! THE CASTER HAS TO REGEN FOR THREE MINUTES EVERY TIME THE CHAIN BREAKS. last time i checked, shrineables don't drop every kill, or else i'd be satisfied with casters. but the problem with that is obvious. i won't even go there.

i can't believe you think that equal killing power means balance.

I would like to see some of the clutter cleaned up and graphical improvements to the world. There is no light source visible, I think there should be a sun. I think having the scenery changed based upon the users time would be cool, have a moving sun and a moon at night.

The fishing pond could have some graphical effects consisting of ripples when you pull a fish out. I think it would be great if the door actually poofed into a cloud or opened to a shining light.

I would also like to see a border on the mana bar as it blends with the background a lot and moving the vault so that when I mash run the vault does not come up immediately after.

The well text should also be expanded in my view so that the text is not on top of the well graphic.

Above all though I would like the difficulty displayed on a glyph again. I really don't understand why that needed to be moved. I like the new system over the old but it was nice to know what you were in for.

Considering casters have high base intelligence you already have a nice bonus to mana regen and with at least 20 mana regen gear it does not take three minutes to regen mana. In my experience my mana fills faster than my life and I have to put a life regen charm on unless I heal prior to mana pool depletion.

I agree it sucks when you run out of mana but you are blowing out of proportion actual regen times.

it takes 25 int for 1 mana regen. and with 7000 mana to regen, i'd much rather regen 3000 life with much cheaper prices for regen gear.

so lets say you have 250 int base (lol) that's 10 mana regen. and 60 regen (a few thousand fg) in regen gear. that's still 2 minutes to regen. now let's analyze poorer players. that's definitely 3 minutes...

and you mention needing to use a life regen charm. for a caster, that's like ONE use of your heal on yourself.

yea i would love to see this too because i catacomb most the time ( because i know a decent amount of people and hate saying no to catacombing with them ) and after 1-71 cata i get maybe 5-10% at like 10 prof when if i soloed i would have got like 50% atleast

I think prof should stay the same.

The logic behind prof gain is the same in arena and catacombs, you gets points for prof every 2-3 hits if the monster is higher then your level and your prof level.

Your only getting less in catacombs because most of the times monsters are lower then your level. I think this compensates well for the fact that arena is generally slower an harder. I actually like the balance of prof gain in catacombs/arena quite a bit.
