light weapons attack once per second

Look at the damage of each weapon kind. For simplicity only compare the Tier 14's, but if you want to compare them all, go ahead.

How do you do this?

(Min Damage + Max Damage) / 2 is your average damage per attack

Since you want to compare all of the weapons, you need to break it down to average damage per second.

Since regular weapons have an attack speed of 1 second, the average damage per attack equals the average damage per second.

Heavy weapons have an attack speed of 2 seconds per attack, which means you have to divide the average damage per attack by 2


You will see that every weapon is equal, damage wise.
If you wish to add EE to the base damage, feel free to do so, the result is the same.

That doesn't mean anything.. you keep going to the fact that its by seconds. Well I don't understand why the seconds matter. I showed my average using with my stats and would a L30 sword with 180ee match this?
Consirdering they wud have to hit 20 times and have the same stats.

are you playing in catas? it seems like if you were there would be a lot of wasted damage using the polearm. If it takes 3 hits to kill using the sword but 2 hits to kill using the polearm (same amount of time as 4 hits with a sword), that's a lot of wasted time attacking with the polearm.

This comment hurts me so much more than your polearm ever could.
