There is not a whole lot to worry about a better build. It's essentially starting life and where you put your ten stats. All the weapons will do the same damage in the long run, you just need something thats gonna have a big effect in a smaller amount of time.
edit: idek if that made sense or not.
that may be true but this isnt a "In the long run" competition.
it only takes a few hits to beat someone in this..critting a 30 with a sword vs like a 20 w/ a club could mean all the difference.
I'm tellin ya it'd add more to the competition to allow it..but meh what do I know =)
