its tempting me... all i have left is to solo climb and MQ... Muting was one of the things i enjoyed immensly. Most of my gear is self found or self made (majority actally being self-made). I dont have time to track trade treads anymore or to really keep an eye out for items being sold.

I kept my mouth shut when all the new drops only happened in cata - which i usually cant join, but if its for the better, sure... i guess.
I even kept my mouth shut when new muting was put in place - if it can help the game sure... i guess.
Now im looking at this chart - it is basically saying since i can only spend at most an hour or two a day at LS (and thats a generous estimate) that i will never be able to mute again.



just a bit saddened that all the new and greatest things for everyone else, alienates me more and more into only slashing solo...

heh i can see your point, but dont worry bro your not the only 1 not liking the new update :D

in fact i think there are more that dislike it then like it lol :P

just grind it out and see where paul takes muting from here, im sure there will be many additions/changes to improve muting as time goes on

im aware what people think, and natrually have an opinion of my own.

What im jsut saying is muting + welling is what i found the most fun in the game. I would only climb to find mutes and wells (and well to get more mutes ofc lol).

As you can see - i have even dedicated all my free time instead of slashing my main char (WT) and instead spent all my time getting muting proficiency up. However looking at how long it will take me to find, then mute the items - i wont really have the chance to mute high level items for many many years.

I guess i will just trudge on as i have with LS, i just wish that there would be an update that wouldnt alienate me more from the game; that is all.

Granted - i may also take a break too.

I think what i find most interesting / sickening about this update is that Paul actually reversed some of his previous updates in order to make this interesting / sickening update possible.

I mean, he went out of his way to make new mute recipes and then completely demolishes and remakes the whole system.

Ya didn't understand this. Could have atleast upped the drop % in arena to what it once was because all the drops unless good are useless.
