You can only earn a limited number of prof for each respectable item being used, this increases the cap from say 10 max prof on melee PER fight to 11.

My numbers are random.
If it's 50 prof per fight then 55 is the new cap etc.

Pretty sure prof gain is 10 points per wave for melee/charm/and heal
