Only the best ones RIP and keep going. Unfortunately not every slasher has experienced this, so hard to tell if others would keep going as well. They will never understand how it is, until they RIP too.
Well, patl had his chance to prove it, so for me he's #1, gp's aren't everything. I played with him many times and his team-work skills are the best imo. Well, I never had any dangerous situation with him, unlike with some other slashers.
He RIP'd in Arena and since he lives in Europe, his ping is way bigger than for ppl from US.
I'd love to see some US slasher playing with 150+ ping and try his fast-driving "skills" for instance
Oh and one more thing. Modesty is also an attribute of the best.

sorry all other, including friends, etc. these are the only 3 players that are in a different category of player imho

If you want a list that include item's ownership, would be different. I'm talking about playing quality here.

Notwithstanding the various proposed standings, my choice for overall #1 would be Natester. #2 and lower is irrelevant.

I remember him coming into DC chat and soaking up all the information we had available in order for him to take his guild to the #1 spot. And this was in the glory days of solo play.

He has captained his guild though thick and thin, with many personnel changes and some rough times, but never has he varied from his own personal standard of integrity

Any rankings are, of course highly influenced by personal opinions and other criteria.

Roy is one of the worst in terms of quality.

He never gets actions because he wants to use every charge at 200%.

And he wears a tank armor in the back.

As sad as it is, few actually grasp how to effectively put your gear to work in the most efficient way possible.
