I think it's just as rude to attack someone publicly like this, perhaps even more rude...

I get very irritated when climbing with only one mage and they don't heal.

They are given so much int/mana to have majority casting rights... and you can find nice heals on the MP for 1-10 fg a piece...

I think JUST because it's a TT you're making this thread, otherwise there would be no thread but a comment in your respective GC.
Honestly, if no one carried anyone and everyone pulled their own weight.
I.e. No one carries people who do 200max crit to 55+, this would be a better game.

The reason why we have such high expectations of people is because we have put in the effort to the game/buy gear and learn the mechanics; we expect to be playing with those same type of people.
Not people who have just joined for one day hoping to be carried. They're like "wow I don't need to buy gear, I can just leech my way up and join these good groups that don't care"
Those "good groups" and those people inside them are the ones that are involuntarily agreeing that the new players are not doing anything wrong.
More and more people are slowly doing this and that is why I believe there are no many "bad casters" today.

I have to admit, too many people are caster-happy these days, and when a tank or even a random person who can be front with a shytty armor, they will carry them because they all want to cast.

especially those who have a big mana pool

I think the point of healing or not healing is not the real "point" that frisky was trying to make. The point was (at least the way I interpret it) that he thought that someone who knows how to play was rude to someone new. I agree with those who posted on many various points stated through out this topic. I think when we play, we should state hey I don't heal, or I don't know how to do whatever if you are new. Sure that'll piss some old farts off, but at least they know at that point what they are getting into or not getting into.

With that said, help the newbs, they may want to be in your guild later, and be major contributors.
