If I was making a game, I know I'd give a damn. Maybe you are right, maybe he doesnt care, but thats not a good thing. I'm not just talking about my opinion, tons of people feel the same way. A few small tweaks could have made this an incredible update.

I dont consider LS a large part of my life, so all of these comments about removing it from my life or taking as serious as family must be from personal experience, because otherwise I have no clue where you are coming from with those statements

Edit - Maybe you think I'm jumping up and down pounding my keyboard or something, I dont know, when in reality all I was trying to do is discuss how much I dont like the update. And I know I'm not alone

The cool thing is, Paul doesn't actually control the Internet. So if you think that you know what it takes to make a more successful and popular game, there's a lot of opportunity out there to do it.

This is his game, play it or don't. He could wake up tomorrow and decide to remove charms from the game. That would probably be a pretty unpopular decision, but people woud have to live with it or get the hell out.

If you've invested a lot of time or forum gold into the game and you don't like the ebbs and flows, tough. Considering that you don't feel like LS is all that important, I'm not even sure why you're voicing your concerns anyway since by your own admission your investment is pretty superficial.

Shannon is right, people should be allowed to vent and talk about how upset they are. I'm just imparting a little wisdom that was gained the hard way, you're wasting your time by doing so.

Nope. Did make things slower at lower levels solo when they no longer worked properly though.

Just like now. You can still solo at any level. It's just different than it was this time yesterday.

Apparently however, people want updates to make the game easier and to make their characters more powerful, not to add new, exciting aspects to the game.

I'm quite sad for you that you don't understand that this is just another step to a different type of LS. It's in the intermediary stages still, there's much more to come.

You can still solo, you can still skill, you can still group climb. I don't see what you're bitching about. The fact that it's "different"?

Well, frankly, if you want a flash game that never changes except to introduce things to make you a bit more powerful, go play Mafia Wars. Seems like it'll be your style.

lpk makes things faster by like 5 minutes total at lower levels.

solo now takes 12-30 minutes per level
the only way to get anywhere is in a group anymore

There was once a time when an hour per level, and a week or month per MQ wasn't considered "horrible", it was considered "normal" for all but a select few of the "godliest" players.

Again, no sympathy here.

Which would almost be ok, if you could find a group. Even then I'm with you, some sort of fun solo play needs to exist no matter what the scale of the game is. Solo cata would be fun, if tweaked a LOT

Seems to me you're bitching, but not really providing any information whatsoever that would indicate how to resolve this alleged "problem".

In the beginning I had my doubts on this new update but after trying it out for some time i actually love it. Pretty sure it is only the matter of adjusting to the new way of slashing and sure vitality will be more appreciated in Hardcore realm from now on So I for sure am going to continue slashing and enjoy this new style Thank you Paul for bringing this game back on track.

1 shot deaths, probably just a bug, so that one doesnt really count
Solo leveling isnt worth it. If it was worth it, more people would be online which means more people would be able to join groups. People log off because no one is in range and it sucks catching up to others. Your best bet for catching up to your friends levels is either rerolling or waiting until they lap you
Prof system is now a joke. The best feature of this game, in my opinion, was being able to make your characters core strength better. This was also the only thing people couldnt buy in this game to make them stronger, other then MQ passes I guess if you want to count that
