Sounds like fun. If only this update came a year earlier, then I just might have had the free time to attempt such a feet.

the proficinecy points arent the determining factor as to how long it will take to lvl in rank as exp per lvl also goes up

so far from what ive done every rank takes 200 mutes

while the exp needed to gain a new level goes up, so does the exp gained per successful mute, so in the end it evens out

for instance i got 5 pts per mute on rank 0 (using magicals, rares got me 10 points, but after rank 0 they all give the same as far as ive noticed) which equals out to be .5% of the total pts needed to lvl (which means 200 mutes at .5% per mute = 1 lvl)

at rank 1 i needed 2000 pts to get to rank 2, but i got 10 pts per successful mute (using rares/mysticals only) which again equals out to .5% of a level per mute which again takes 200 mutes to lvl

now rank 2 comes in and guess what??? 3000 pts needed omg lets panic!!! actually no lets not because each successful mute gives 15 pts which again is .5% which again means 200 successful mutes = one more rank up

now granted i havent got past lvl 2 but im sure this trend continues and at that rate that would mean 13000 mutes to lvl 65 proficiency

so while your proficiency points might be right, in the grand scheme of things they mean nothing, yes 13000 mutes is quite a bit and will take some time, but no need to panic yet as its not something that is unachievable

the hardest part of lvling up muting proficincy will be without a doubt getting the necessary magical lvl and tier items and having enough of them too keep you busy gaining prof

The real problem is will a lvl 65 prof let you mute lvl 55 items?

Well Glyphing started out the same way, but once you get to higher levels it doesn't follow that pattern. At level 13 I'm averaging 19.44 experience per successful glyph of magical and rare tier IV's. Which means this chart could be off making reality even worse...

Slashers like me (barely any time to slash, and 95% solo) just keep getting raped.

*sigh*

Losing more and more motivation to keep slashing <_<

well paul did say that muting was going to be easier than glyphing/fishing/cooking so lets hope it doesnt follow the same pattern glyphing does :D

if ur to the point where u solo and thats the main thing you do then this update didnt really effect you

maybe you wont make the fg u did before off of selling high lvl mutes, but if u have the gear to solo to mq then u really dont need the constant flow of selling mutes for fg

there are a ton of people that would kill just to have a setup they could solo with 1-71
